Basic Information:
Name: Daciana
Age: 7 years
Gender: Female
Pack: Caisteal
Physical Description:
Breed: Arctic Wolf
Height: 29”
Weight: 83 lbs. (around 38 kg)
Fur Color: Cream
Eye Color: Dark brown
Physical Description Summary: Daciana’s coat is a cream color, a darker shade than white but still within the same spectrum. Her fur is thick and in some places, a slightly darker grey, though this is mostly just a trick done by the way light hits her coat as the darker color is her undercoat. Her eyes are a very dark brown, giving her seemingly ‘black’ eyes which melt into the black skin around them. She has large paws and a sloped back, a dead give-a-away to her age. She still has all her teeth, but she is plagued by stiffness of the joints and there is a long scar on her right side from an old fight, which wraps around her right hind leg and has since made walking and running difficult for the she-wolf.
The Facts:
Personality: Daciana is an older wolf and is wise after all of her years of experience. She knows the best seasons to catch certain game and knows how to care for the sick and injured. She has whelped many pups in her lifetime, though only a few have survived to adulthood. Daciana is familiar with the pain of loss; she has lost two packs, many children, and three mates. Still, she has not allowed that pain to completely close off her heart. Daciana is a kind old soul, especially to the young. She knows how to be patient and understanding, and rather than become angry and confrontational, she prefers to talk out problems, even with unruly wolves.
History: Daciana was born into a large pack, a part of the second group of pups from the beta pair. She grew up happy, surrounded by family and friends. When she was old enough, she took a mate and during their first season, she had two healthy pups. Tragically, however, a mysterious disease swept through their pack lands, destroying her family and taking from Daciana her mate and new pups. Her pack was not the only one affected, and so she and the other survivors had to travel a long way until they were able to find shelter with a pack who had mostly survived the disease.
There, Daciana mated again, though she had no pups during the two seasons she was with the pack. However, when a group of loner wolves began to encroach on the pack’s territory, her mate was again taken from her and Daciana was left with a large battle scar. Pushed out of her new found home, Daciana never again chose to become a part of a pack. She would wander aimlessly, mating with other loners when she felt like it and surprisingly enough, many of those pups survived and went on to become loners themselves. To her knowledge, she has six surviving children.
