- 1,all and 2,all: The Barbary Fence- the long, three-foot-tall stone fence that separates Calic from the "barbarians."
- 8,29: Moss Castle Ruins - the immense ruins of an old castle.
- 8,31: Cliff Lake - a lake in particularly high, barren mountains, sitting in a cradle valley and shielded from the wind. It is trecherous to get to but rewarding.
- 9,6 and surrounding areas: The Grey Forest - a forest crossing the "border" between the highlands and the lowlands.
- 9,29 and surrounding areas: The Great Lake - the largest lake. It is black and deep. Who knows what could be living there?
- 11,49: The Lighthouse Ruins - the remains of an old, stone lighthouse and its family's housing. Empty, frightening, and makes weird sounds when the wind blows through.
- 12,19 and surrounding areas: Glass Lake - a lake largely protected from the winds, and sits still like glass.
- 14,43 and surrounding areas: The Promontory Woods - a scrubby, somewhat dry woodland on the promontory, leading to the lighthouse.
- 16,34 and surrounding areas: The Painted Woods - a picturesque, green woods.
- 21,1: Gull Castle ruins, Gull Castle pier - a small castle and its pier, now laying in ruins.
- 21,11 and surrounding areas: Hill Lake - a lake surrounded by gentle hills.
- 21,24 and surrounding areas: The Great Forest - the largest forest. It contains a great many animals.
- 25,16 and surrounding areas: Middling Lake - a dam-like lake in the middle of a flowing river.
- 25,34 and surrounding areas: Old Dam - what remains of an old, man-made dam. Otters have populated it.
- 34,9 and surrounding areas: Snake-strip Woods - a thin, deforested wood. It contains a quarry.
- 34,14 and surrounding areas: Rosewood Forest - a very thick, healthy temperate forest. Deer populate it in the colder months.
- 34,24 and surrounding areas: Badger Lake - a lake with a lot of abandoned badger holes nearby, ready for appropriation into wolf dens.
- 38,26 and surrounding areas: Fairy Ring Woods - a wood with a lot of peat bogs and perfect circles with no tree growth.
- 38,35 and surrounding areas: Plume Woods - a rapidly spreading patch of woodland.
- 39,50: The Grey Pier - an old, rickety peer that gives a lovely view of the ocean. It is sometimes nearly swallowed by the high tide.
